Hello there, mom friends ~ and anyone who’s simply curious!

Hi, I’m Ivy! Welcome to the very first note of MomLife Notes. I’ve been thinking for a long time about creating a space like this. A less loud corner of the internet where I can write more personally about homeschooling, motherhood, and little moments that shape our days.

I shared mostly about homeschooling through @momlifenotes on Instagram, but there are so many reflections and details that don’t always fit neatly into a photo caption or a quick post.

Motherhood has been one of the most humbling and beautiful roles I’ve stepped into. It’s grounding, stretching and deeply meaningful all at the same time. Some days feel peaceful, other days are tiring, most days are a little bit of both.

But I’ve realized there are parts of my journey worth sharing. Somewhere in the middle of ordinary routines—reading stories, learning together, watching a child grow— you start to notice how much there is to reflect on.

That’s what this space is for.

A place to write about our homeschool life, books we love, quiet routines, and the thoughts that come along with raising a child. And yes, I’ll also share our discoveries, travel, and all of my favorite products that I’ve obsessively researched and curated… if time permits! LOL

If you’re here, I’m really glad you found this little corner. 🙂

Despite all the hindrances to create and maintain a website, I’m excited to connect with you here, and someday look back on these pages to see the growth, the shifts and the little moments that quietly shape me.

Yes, I had been wanting to have my own website but too overwhelmed to start. I first wrote my thoughts years ago through Notion, so there’s gonna be a lot of #throwbackmoments once I transfer them here. But yay ~ I finally did it!

I always ask my son if he’s okay with me taking photos or videos and sharing them online. I know that, at his age, he can’t truly give informed consent yet, but I still believe it’s important to ask and to help him understand what I’m doing.

If the day comes when he tells me he wants something taken down, I won’t hesitate. I’ll remove any photo or video he asks me to, and if that’s what he truly wants, I’d even close this website and my social media accounts without a second thought. 🙂

Please know that everything you see here is intentionally curated—not because we’re trying to be someone we’re not, but because my first responsibility is to protect my son. You won’t find anything that I think could embarrass him now or in the future.

As for the content itself, it’s all real. This is simply my journal of our life and homeschool. I don’t have the talent or the patience to fake a perfect life anyway. That honestly sounds like far too much work. Haha!

And finally, please excuse my grammar and the occasional typo or mistake. English isn’t my first language, and I’d rather spend my time living these moments than trying to make every sentence perfect.

I hope this space feels like a cozy book for you. I hope the notes I’ll be sharing would be helpful to fellow moms or dads, making life simpler along the way.

So here begins this small record of my journey through motherhood! I don’t have everything figured out, but I’m grateful to have you here along the way.

I’m not even an influencer, but whenever I share with my previously two-digit audience, at least two moms would ask me where I bought something they had seen from my Instagram.
